AFCAT Full Form

AFCAT is an Air Force entrance examination having a Full Form of Air Force Common Admission Test. It is necessary to crack this exam for technical and non-technical positions to enter the air force. AFCAT eligibility

• Candidates must be unmarried and between the ages of 20 and 24
• The education criteria include 60% in Maths and Physics at the 10+2 and Graduation levels
• Candidates must be Indian citizens
• Widows, widowers and divorcees under 25 are not eligible for the exam
• BE/B Tech degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% or equivalent marks

AFCAT exam pattern

The AFCAT exam is typically administered online and is a two-hour paper with three marks for each correct answer and one mark for each incorrect answer. A written test, an AFSB test, and a medical examination are all part of the selection process.

All non-technical candidates must pass only the AFCAT exam, whereas all technical jobs require passing the EKT (Engineering knowledge test) in addition to the AFCAT.

AFCAT Syllabus

The AFCAT exams cover General Awareness, English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

General awareness

The main role of this topic is to check the current awareness. The questions are designed based on ongoing, current events in various fields worldwide. About 20 questions are asked in this section.

Topics including History, Sports, Current Affairs, civics, environment, Geography, defense, basic science, art and culture come in the exam.

English
