About Project 75I:
- The Project 75I-class submarine is a follow-on of the Project 75 Kalvari-class submarines for the Indian Navy.
- It was approved in 2007 as a part of the Indian Navy’s 30-year Plan for indigenous submarine construction.
- It envisages for the construction of six advanced diesel-electric submarines.
