  • Integration: Plans are underway to unify the four Flight Information Regions (FIRs) located in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai into one continuous airspace based in Nagpur, centralizing Air Traffic Management operations.
  • Execution: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has sought expressions of interest for preparing a detailed project report to facilitate this transformation.
