Bal Kalyan Puraskar:
- Purpose: Acknowledges outstanding contributions by individuals and institutions in child development, protection, and welfare.
- Eligibility for Individuals: Indian citizens above 18 years, with a minimum of 7 years of work in child welfare.
- Eligibility for Institutions: Non-fully government-funded institutions with at least 10 years in child welfare.
- Award Details: Cash prizes of Rs. 1,00,000 for individuals and Rs. 5,00,000 for institutions.
- History: Established in 1979 as the National Child Welfare Awards, renamed in 2018.
