Mulya Pravah 2.0:

• It is a set of guidelines intended to instill human values and professional ethics in higher education institutions, released by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India.
• It is a modified version of the 2019 Mulya Pravah guideline.

• Objective:

• • Inculcate respect for fundamental duties and constitutional values. 

• Develop a culture of integrity and inclusiveness in higher education institutions. 

• Without any prejudice, institutional and public interest should be the only factors considered when making decisions. 
• Administration should refrain from misappropriation and reject gifts that may compromise impartial duties.
• It requires organizations to voluntarily provide important information to the public for evaluation.

Why in news?

UGC seeks to implement  Mulya Pravah 2.0 in higher education.
