Recently, the Chairman of the Central Water Commission (CWC) launched the mobile application, FloodWatch.

Central Water Commission (CWC):

- It is an attached office to the Ministry of Jal Shakti under the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
- Main objective: conservation and effective use of the nation’s water resources, irrigation, navigation, drinking water supply, and water power development.
