About Agriculture Investment Fund (AIF):
- It is a Central Sector Scheme that was launched in 2020.
- Banks and other financial institutions will lend 1 lakh crore at an interest subsidy of 3% annually.
- It is for investments in financially sound projects for post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets.
- Duration: For 10 years, FY2020 to FY2032.
BHARAT Campaign:
- BHARAT (Banks Heralding Accelerated Rural & Agriculture Transformation ), a new campaign for banks under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, was launched by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
- It is a one-month-long campaign.It seeks to raise Rs 7200 crore.
