Model Infrastructure of Schools in PM Shri School Yojana

According to the PMO, “as per NEP 2020’s vision, they would provide governance in their respective areas in delivering superior schooling in equitable, inclusive, and joyful education systems that take care of different backgrounds and linguistic requirements of youngsters, and different educational abilities and makes each other participate actively in their own learning process.”
The Union Education Minister lauded the Pradhan Mantri Shri Yojana initiative as a critical step toward achieving the NEP aim of converting India into a vibrant knowledge society. Through their distinctive experiential, holistic, investigation, and learner-centric teaching, these 14,500 exemplar schools will promote the development of well-rounded individuals with humanistic values and 21st-century skills as a NEP 2020 laboratory.
What will the Centre contribute?
The Centre will pay 60% of the operational expenses because it sponsors this school. The remaining 40% will be covered by the state or the UT. In Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and the northeast, the Centre’s contribution might approach 90%.
Is the Centre funding any other schools?
Yes, the Centre funds all Kendriya Vidyalayas, which serve india kids of Union government employees.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas were founded by the Education Ministry to encourage excellent pupils from rural areas. The Pradhan Mantri Shri plan will reform schools run by the national government, provinces, UTs, and municipalities. These could include Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, state legislature and municipal schools, according to The Indian Express.
Other important student schemes
In September 2021, the Mukhyamantri Kisan Shakti Nirman program (PM Poshan Scheme) for state and public educational institutions was approved. This programme contains the first lunch programme.
