CPL Course Eligibility

The eligibility is mentioned below:

  • The minimum age requirement is 17 years.
  • The maximum age limit is 65 years. 
  • The candidate should have cleared 10+2 with chemistry, physics, and mathematics as the main subjects.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 50 percent (aggregate) to apply for CPL.
  • Per the DGCA requirement, the candidates must clear two medical tests to become eligible for CPL. 

CPL Course Duration

The commercial pilot license course contains 80 hours of academic sessions (ground level) and 200 hours of flying experience. To get the license, the candidate needs to clear three stages of training:

  • Ground Training 
  • Simulator Training 
  • Flying Training 

After completing the three stages, the candidate will receive a course completion certificate. DGCA will issue a Commercial Pilot License based on this certificate.
