In this section, we will discuss the various government schemes provided by the central government to the different states of India. It will give us a thorough idea about their implications and benefits.

The Central Government of India conducts several initiatives with distinct goals from time to time. These government schemes are designed to help the poor, the economically disadvantaged, people living in rural areas, and other vulnerable members of society.

A scheme, in general, is a government-formulated plan, strategy, or program of action involving a large number of people. A union government program is one devised by the Govt. Of India. Various government programs called schemes or Yojana have been introduced by various Ministries of the Indian government.

The programs introduced by the Government of India seem to be either centralised or state-specific. Many of the programs are also carried out in partnership with the states. Central government schemes are those that are introduced by Ministries of the Central Govt. These programs are critical to addressing the country’s socio-economic issues. They contribute to the elevation of society’s most disadvantaged members by providing them with basic and required services.

Objectives of the Government Schemes

The various Ministries of the Govt have established a list of government schemes. Each scheme has its distinct set of goals. However, the primary goal of these initiatives is to give social, economic, and financial assistance to Indian residents. The broad goals of the financial and socio-economic schemes are as follows:
