CLAT PG Syllabus

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) Postgraduate (PG) Examination is held for admission into various postgraduate programmes offered at National Law Universities across India. The details of the syllabus for CLAT PG 2022 are as follows:

Introduction and Overview

The CLAT PG 2022 will focus on testing the comprehension abilities of candidates. The paper will cover the following subjects from the undergraduate law programme:

Objective Section

This section of the paper will include extracts from primary legal sources such as significant court decisions in different areas of law, statutes and regulations. Each such extract will be followed by a list of questions which will require candidates to exhibit their comprehension abilities of the arguments and viewpoints, ability to apply their knowledge of the areas of law detailed in the passage, and awareness of legal aspects and facts connected with and arising out of the verdict or statute.
