 Number, ranking, and time sequence tests are based on the organisation of characters/people/objects in a specified order according to certain parameters.

In this type of question, you are typically given a lengthy sequence of numbers. The candidate must determine the frequency of a number satisfying the conditions provided in the question.

Number Ranking and Time Sequence:

In ranking and numbering arrangements, the location or rank of a person from the right or left to the top or bottom of a row must be decided. Additionally, a rank or position is provided, and the total number of individuals must be determined.

The progression of events from a state of potentiality in the future, through the present, to a state of finality in the past constitutes a time sequence.

Although time order words can be put anywhere in a sentence, they are typically found at the beginning of a sentence or paragraph. At the beginning of a sentence, they are followed by a comma. For instance, “We went to the park earlier” or “In the long run, it was for the best.”

Time Sequence Test Reasoning Tricks:

  • 60 seconds equals one minute
  • 60 minutes = 1 hour
  • 24 hours = 1 day
  • 7 days = 1 week
  • 4 weeks = 1 month
  • 30 days equals 1 month
  • 12 months equals 1 year
  • 365 days equals one year
  • 366 days = 1 leap year
  • 100 years equals 100 years

October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th are clearly Sundays.

After seven days, every day of the week is repeated. Therefore, it will be Friday 91 days from now. Because 13 x 7 = 91.

6.Today is Saturday; after 59 days, what day will it be?

Answer: Option B

Each day follows the previous seven, therefore 7 x 8 = 56. On the 56th day, Saturday will occur. Thus, on the 59th day, Tuesday will occur.

Ranking and order is an essential topic in the logical reasoning area of the banking exam question paper; it entails arranging the location or ranks of an object or a person from left to right or top to bottom.
