The XLRI-Xavier School of Management offers the Xavier Aptitude Test, sometimes referred to as the XAT, as a national entrance test. For admission to XLRI and 150 other top MBA schools in India, such as IMT (Institute of Management and Technology) Ghaziabad, SPJIMR (S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research) Mumbai, TAPMI (T.A. Pai Management Institute) Manipal, and XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management) Bhubaneswar, candidates must pass the XAT MBA or PGDM entrance exam.
- Each course requires a Bachelor’s degree from a university or board that has been approved.
- Before graduating, at least three years should have passed.
- If a person is a graduating senior, they may also apply for the test.
- XLRI(Xavier Labour Relations Institute) has not recommended age restrictions for exam registration in line with the XAT qualifying requirements.
XAT Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Like other prestigious entrance exams, the XAT is broken up into components that evaluate a person’s managerial skills. The XAT is designed to evaluate applicants based on merit and identify the top innovative brains.
According to the data above, the XAT is comparable to other competitive admission tests conducted by business schools worldwide. The XAT is three hours long and broken into four sections, like the GMAT. The XAT evaluates your aptitude for essential commercial and managerial talents and your time management and critical thinking ability (much like the GRE and GMAT).
