CA Intermediate Fees 2023 – Important Dates & Registration Procedure

Registration for the CA Inter November 2023 session is being accepted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) till March 1, 2023. However, as of September 1, 2022, registration for the CA Intermediate exam 2023 for the May session was closed. On February 3, 2023, the Institute will make the CA Intermediate exam application for the May session available. The final day to submit the CA Inter exam application without incurring late fees is February 24, 2023. 

A candidate’s CA Intermediate registration 2023 will be valid for four years after they have successfully completed it. This professional course has three levels i.e., Foundation, Intermediate, and Final level. Candidates have two ways to enrol in the CA Intermediate programme: either through direct entry or after passing the CA Foundation test. 

CA Intermediate Registration 2023: Important Dates

All year long, students are able to register online for the CA Intermediate course. It is advisable to submit the form before the deadline, nevertheless. Two times a year, in May and November, CA examinations are administered. You must register by September 1st or earlier if you plan to appear for the exam in May. Similarly to this, the deadline for CA Intermediate Exam registration in order to sit for the November exam is the first of March. After registering for the CA Intermediate Course, you must finish an eight-month study period. You will thereafter be qualified to take the CA Intermediate exams.

CA Intermediate Registration Process 2023

  1. Visit the ICAI website and access the Service Portal Link or go to the ICAI portal.
  2. Log in to your self-service portal by entering your username and password for authentication.
  3. Once logged in, click on “Click Here to access the Student SSP Portal.”
  4. Select the student cycle.
  5. If you are a student entering through the foundation route, click on “Intermediate through Foundation.” For direct entry route students, click on “Intermediate through Direct Entry.”
  6. Direct entry route students need to provide their personal details, while the personal details of CA Foundation students will be pre-filled. Verify the information and click on “Save and Next.”
  7. Enter your qualification details.
  8. Upload all the required documents, provide the necessary details, and click on “Save and Next.”
  9. Upload your Photo/Signature, ensuring that the image size is up to 100KB.
  10. Click on “Generate OTP” to receive the OTP on your registered mobile number or a verification link to your email address.
  11. Enter the received OTP and Captcha code, then click on the Submit button.
  12. Lastly, pay the CA Inter registration fees. The submitted application will be verified by ICAI and authorized accordingly.

  1. Passport-sized Photograph: Recent passport-sized color photograph of the candidate.

  2. Signature: Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature.

  3. Date of Birth Proof: Document such as a birth certificate or class 10th mark sheet mentioning the candidate’s date of birth.

  4. Educational Qualification Proof: Depending on the candidate’s educational background, documents such as class 12th mark sheet, graduation degree, or equivalent qualification certificates may be required.

  5. Nationality/Citizenship Proof: Document such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport indicating the candidate’s nationality or citizenship.

  6. Category Certificate (if applicable): Certificate for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PwD.

  7. Proof of Special Category (if applicable): Documents supporting special category eligibility, such as a certificate for differently-abled candidates.

  8. Declaration/Undertaking: Candidates may be required to submit a signed declaration or undertaking as per the guidelines provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
