The Indian Air Force has released the official notification of AFCAT 01/2022 to help candidates stay updated about the exam. The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), conducted by the Indian Air Force, selects desirable candidates for multiple positions in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The registration for AFCAT 01/2022 will begin on 1st Dec 2021 and end on 30th Dec 2021.
It is a great opportunity for all the aspiring male and female candidates who want to join the Indian Air Force (IAF) as Group A Gazetted Officers. They can submit their application online on the Indian Air Force career website. The online AFCAT examination will be held on 12th Feb, 13th Feb, and 14th Feb 2022.
Below are some important updates on AFCAT eligibility, exam schedule, and admit card.
Candidates must ensure their eligibility for the examination, as follows:
- All the candidates applying for the examination should make sure that they meet all of the requirements for admission to the examination. They will be allowed to appear for the written examination and SSB test after fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions. If it is found before or after the written examination or AFSB Testing that the candidate does not meet any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
- The mere fact that a candidate receives an admit card/call up letter does not indicate that his or her candidature has been accepted by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
