What is the main difference between space wave propagation and sky waves?

Ans : Sky wave: A radio wave that is transmitted to the sky and then reflected by the ionosphere to the desired spot on the earth is known as sky waves. 

Space wave: A radio wave that is transmitted directly from a large transmitting antenna to a reception station is known as a space wave.
