Ans. The frequency of the cyclotron is inversely proportional to the time period. Meaning, if the expression for cyclotron frequency is:

f = Bq / 2 πm

The time period or the period of rotation becomes:

T = 1/ f = 2 π m / Bq

where B is the magnetic field, q is the particle’s charge, and m is the mass of the accelerated particle.
