Explain the meaning of communalism?

Ans : Society where people with multiple faiths or religions live, this society often faces violence or hatred as these people consider religion as ground to pursue their political ambitions by means of violence. Communalism often  leads to violence as it has hatred as base. This phenomena results in separation of religious organization and communal organization.
