  3. Energy Efficient Services Limited (EESL) It is a joint venture of four National Public Sector Undertakings NTPC Limited, Power Finance Corporation Limited, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited and POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited It has been set up under Ministry of Power, Government of India. 4. Key Highlights The SAATHI initiative will be jointly implemented by EESL and office of Textile Commissioner on pan-India basis. It will be implemented in key cluster such as Erode, Surat, Ichalkaranji, etc. It is based on the aggregation, bulk procurement and financing model that EESL has successfully deployed in several sectors like LED bulbs, Smart Meters and Electric Vehicles.
