Polygon method of vector addition

If many vectotr quantities of the same nature are working on the same body then resultant will be the vector sum of all We have, say, 6 vectors are to be added.

Start with any one vector. A Draw second vector B by putting tail of second on head of First.

Then draw third vector C such that its tail is on the head of second vector B.

Repeat same process till you are done with all vectors. Then we reach at the head of the final vector.

Now resultant of complete sum is the Vector R st from tail of first vector A and ending at the head o vector F last
