yes @Sidharth Tripathi clearance ratio is given by clearance volume to swept volume.

Bottom Dead Centre or Outer Dead Centre: It is the dead centre when the piston is nearest to crank shaft (It is similar to outer dead centre in horizontal engines Stroke Length The distance between two dead centre is known as stroke length Clearance Volume: It is the volume of the cylinder when the piston is at top dead centre or inner dead centre.
