Interests and Hobbies Hobbies are the activities that we love doing and take up regularly for leisure. You may like to read, write, cook, do yoga or gardening or even play a certain kind of sports. A hobby that you mention on the resume adds value to your personality. It shows that you are creative and that you like to take challenges in life. Interests however, on the other hand are one's inclination towards something that may not be pursued on a regular basis. For eg. You may have interest in listening to music but you do not wish to learn any instrument or singing.
