CAG of India has only auditing functions and not the function of a comptroller,( unlike in Britain). i.e it doesn't need the approval of CAG for withdrawal of money from the CFI as such. It only looks if such funds appropriated out of the CFI has been used for the purpose for which it was withdrawn.
