sir in the last question , you have taken the case where both the word starts with p and end with m. but in the question it is asked that begin with p or end with m so do we also have to include the case when it starts with p and also end with ?

The question is asked to finds the words which starts to with p and ends with m . Here in the first step, we calculate the words only starts with p and in the second step we calculate the words which ends with m . Now , there are some words which starts p and ends m . and when we add both the ceses we consider them twice that's why we need to substart the common words which starts with p and ends with m . and that is why we have to calculate the no of words which starts with p and ends with m .
