Sir, can you explain, why at the time of suction only intake valve is open and at exhaust time only exhaust valve is open ?

Dear Chandan this happens for the better efficiency of the engine ...and if you open either valve during the strokes then fresh charge will get mixed with the waste exhaust product .. and this will decrease its efficiency..!
