As sanitizers are claimed in killing germs, the demand for them is increasing day by day due to the intense spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and is getting sold at a large scale in the market. A new hand sanitizer has been developed by a team of scientists from the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan BioResource Technology (CSIR-IHBT).
CSIR-IHBT Develops Natural Hand Sanitizer
During the covid-19 pandemic, there were several cases of fake sanitizers which were tested harmful. As per the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), the sanitizer has been made using natural flavors, alcohol, active tea constituents, etc. by a team of scientists from the CSIR-Institute, the hand sanitizer they made contains no chemicals like triclosan, parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance, etc. – said by Dr. Sanjay Kumar (director of IHBT). For marketing and commercially producing the natural hand-sanitizer in all cities across the nation, the technology for producing the hand-sanitizer has been transferred to a company which is Palampur based, the company is M/s A.B. Scientific Solutions. There was an agreement between the company and the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology. A doctor named Dr. Sanjay Kumar is saying that due to the urgent need for sanitizer in the market because of Covid-19 led to the arbitrary pricing by various companies. As to meet the demand of the people, this natural hand sanitizer has been put forward at the appropriate time by CSIR-IHBT.
Conclusion
It is to be concluded that the natural hand sanitizer developed by the CSIR-IHBT contains only natural products in it, no harmful chemicals are added to this sanitizer.
