Napoleon Bonaparte was a political leader and French military leader. He ran successful campaigns for the French Revolution and was also the leader of the French Republic. Still, the power of Napoleon came to an end on the 18th of June 1815 after he lost the battle of Waterloo. The Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon Bonaparte, and the Duke of Wellington was the leading political and military general. In the 19th century, the Duke of Wellington was best remembered for the battle of Waterloo, in which he defeated Napoleon in 1815.

What Would Happen If Napoleon Won the Battle of Waterloo?

If Napoleon Bonaparte had won the war at Waterloo, the Russian force had been crushed by the French army, Poland would have been extended at the cost of Russia in 1814, and the war of peninsula war would have ended. The main focus of the French ruler Napoleon Bonaparte was on Spain after defeating Russia, and he would have become king of Spain and Portugal.

In France, there were better circumstances as compared to other places. He would have lived long after the retirement of Napoleon Bonaparte, his son Charles Louis Napoleon would have become the emperor, and Napoleon would have died in 1873. There would be a possibility that his son Charles Louis Napoleon would have died while fighting Zulus, but it’s just a possibility.

Europe Would Have Become the Most Dominant Country

Europe would have become more powerful than the United States of America. It would have its representative countries and parliament, and it would have become the most powerful empire in the world.

In addition, Europe would have become a mixture of the Roman Empire and Europe. Still, on the other hand, Europe could have never disbanded its monarchy, and the countries would be more liberal. It will lead to an increase in population in Europe, and there’s a possibility that the population in Europe will exceed one billion.

The World Would Have Been Stuck in the Past. 

The United Kingdom would have taken Canada under the heir United States so that the United States of America could get more power and population. Compared to today, Africa would have been less recognised, and the nation would not be as advanced as we see today because the polarisation in the past days would not have existed, and things would have been just like in the 18th century.

The whole world would have been stuck in the past, and the condition of India would be even worse as Mughal empires would have ruled the whole of India, and democracy would have never entered India. The constitution of India would continue to be according to the laws of the 18th century. In addition, The population of India would be much less than today, and the technology will also be very less.

Condition of China If Napoleon Was Not Defeated 

The absolute control of the economy of China would be under Europe, and the population of China would be much lesser compared to today because communism would have never entered China. The world would be according to French, Turkey, or Britain.

In conclusion, the fact is that the whole world would have been stuck in the past, and the technology wouldn’t have been much advanced as we are seeing it today. The world will be following the cultures of French, Britain and Russia, and the world would have been a much worse place than we had today.

The route from Charleroi to Brussels and other factors disadvantaged Napoleon, and he still lost the battle of Waterloo in 1815.
