India is scheduled to host the first International Buddhist Conference 2021 India on November 19 and 20 st, at the Nava Nalanda maha vihara campus, located in Nalanda, Bihar. The academic conference, organised by the Indian Council for cultural relations (Iccr), will be annual. Four regional conferences will be held within India (Telangana, Sarnath, Gangtok, and Dharamshala) and overseas (Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Cambodia) before the convention. Global Buddhist Conference 2021 focuses on making India the central point of Buddhism and promoting Buddhist activities like seminars, academics, culture, or people travelling for celebrations like Buddha Purnima and Vesak.

As part of the celebration, an award will be presented to promote the study of Buddhist study. It will be awarded on November 21 during premier Narendra Modi’s presence in New Delhi.

International Buddhist Conference 2021 India Featured Award
