A. UNMIL (UN Mission in Liberia) → 3. 2003–2018:
UNMIL was established by UNSC Resolution 1509 in September 2003 following the Accra Comprehensive Peace Agreement. It officially closed on 30 March 2018, making it one of the longest UN peacekeeping missions.
B. MINURCAT (UN Mission in CAR and Chad) → 1. 2007–2010:
MINURCAT was established by UNSC Resolution 1778 in September 2007 to protect civilians in eastern Chad and the northeast Central African Republic. It was terminated in December 2010.
C. MINUSTAH (UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti) → 4. 2004–2017:
MINUSTAH was established in June 2004 following the departure of President Aristide. It was replaced by MINUJUSTH in October 2017. India contributed troops to this mission.
D. UNMISET (UN Mission of Support in East Timor) → 2. 2002–2005:
UNMISET succeeded UNTAET in May 2002 when East Timor (Timor-Leste) became independent. It supported administrative structures until May 2005, when it was replaced by UNOTIL.

The Notification for the Civil Services Examination, 2021 was released by the Commission on March 04, 2021. The notification contains all the details related to the examination dates, number of vacancies, eligibility criteria, syllabus, application process, fee, exam centers etc. The exam is being conducted to fill in 712 vacancies as listed in the notification with 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability. The Preliminary examination will be held on October 10 2021. Candidates can visit the Commission’s website  to fill the application form. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications have been provided on the website. The application window was closed on March 24 2021. The admit cards for the Preliminary Examination were made available from September 16 2021. The admit cards can be downloaded from the Commission’s website on the above mentioned link.
