The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Prior to 2019, the exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). One of the most difficult exams to crack, the JEE Main is held for admission to India’s renowned engineering colleges including the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
The JEE Main examination held in the year 2016 took place on 9th April, 2016 in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The difficulty level of the JEE varies, making it essential for candidates to follow a comprehensive study strategy. It is particularly important for students to practice previous JEE exam papers to familiarize themselves with the question pattern, and identify their strengths and weaknesses. Candidates can check the official website of Unacademy where several previous years’ JEE question papers are available along with their solutions. Applicants may easily download and practice them.
