The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is a national level exam for admissions in engineering, architecture and design courses in prominent institutes in India. This is one of the toughest entrance exams, and lakhs of students appear in JEE every year.
The JEE Advanced examination was held on 27th May, 2019. The examination was conducted in two different shifts i.e. morning and evening. Paper 1 was in the morning from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 was from 2 PM to 5 PM. The examination was conducted by IIT Roorkee and was a computer based online test. The duration of the examination was 3 hours.
As far as difficulty is concerned, Paper 1 was a moderate one. The Mathematics section of the exam was tough and also lengthy. The Chemistry paper was easy and the Physics paper was moderate. Paper 2 was easier than Paper 1. Both Physics and Mathematics exams were slightly difficult, but Chemistry Paper was easy.
Since, the difficulty levels of the JEE exam cannot be predicted, it is best to practise as much as possible. Candidates should revise the concepts properly.
