The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) takes place every year for candidates who have cleared the JEE (Main) examination. The JEE Advanced examination is conducted by any one of the following Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the country i.e. IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee. The JEE Advanced examination held on 16th May, 2016 was conducted by IIT Guwahati.
Candidates from all over India as well as overseas appear for the JEE Advanced examination to get admission in Engineering programmes offered by the prestigious IITs. The subjects covered in the exam are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The difficulty level of the JEE Advanced examination, one of the toughest exams to crack, varies every year. Candidates should prepare every subject well in order to clear the examination.
