SBI Clerk Exam Pattern

There are a few guidelines regarding the exam pattern of the position of State Bank of India Junior Associate Clerical Cadre. Candidates need to be aware of the exam pattern followed by the National exam in order to increase their chances of scoring great marks. The different stages of the exam follow different exam patterns. 

Stage 1- Prelims

  • The preliminary exam will be held online
  • It will consist of  objective type of questions
  • The total marks for the Prelims exam will be 100
  • The entire exam paper will consist of three sections

Stage 2- Mains

  • The Mains exam will take place in the virtual mode
  • The question paper will consist of 4 different sections
  • The total time duration will be 2 hours 40 minutes
  • There will be a total of 190 questions

Test of specified opted local language:

  • Candidates who qualify for the selection and display a proof of having studied in the opted local language will not have to go through any language test
  • In other cases, a test will be conducted for the opted language after the provisional selection but prior to joining
  • Candidates who fail to clear the test and are found non-fluent in the language will be disqualified

Note:

  • The questions that belong to the MCQs type of questions will be subjected to negative marking
  • The negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer
  • There will be no maintenance of section wise marks
  • There will be separate timings for each test as specified
