Vitamins are organic nutrients essential for various metabolic reactions. They include fat soluble and water soluble forms. Fat soluble forms are A, D, E and K. Water soluble forms are C and B complex forms-(B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12). Deficiency of each vitamin can manifest in form of certain abnormal symptoms. Likewise their excess is harmful. So their consumption should be properly regulated.
