Genghis Khan, as we all know, was the father of the Mongolian nation. He was a great warlord and conquered many small and big kingdoms. This created the Great Mongol Empire, the world's largest contiguous empire. India too was threatened by the Mongols numerous times. To understand the exact nature of the threat, we have to first understand Genghis Khan and his successors, which is rarely discussed while studying Indian history.
