Course Overview (In Hindi)

Very rarely on this earth, such dynasties appear, where worthy slaves often replace unworthy princes in quick succession.

There were many peculiarities about the so-called 'Slave Dynasty' or 'Mamluk Dynasty' of Delhi.
The origins of all the three slave Sultans - Aibak, Iltutmish and Balban are discussed here.

So this chapter will cover the following rulers of this dynasty :
1. Qutubuddin Aibak
2. Iltutmish
3. Ruknuddin
4. Razia Sultana

The Slave Dynasty - Part 1 (In Hindi)

Genghis Khan, as we all know, was the father of the Mongolian nation. He was a great warlord and conquered many small and big kingdoms. 

This created the Great Mongol Empire, the world's largest contiguous empire.

India too was threatened by the Mongols numerous times. To understand the exact nature of the threat, we have to first understand Genghis Khan and his successors, which is rarely discussed while studying Indian history.

The remaining sultans of the Slave Dynasty were also quite important.

After Razia, there was some confusion and crisis, sorted out by Balban, the powerful Emir, who installed Nasiruddin Mahmud on the throne.

Later he himself became the sultan and run the Sultanate with iron hand. 

This lesson will cover the remaining Slave Sultans and the legacies of this so-called 'Slave Dynasty'.

The Slave Dynasty - Part 2 (In Hindi)

India was an absolutely different nation before the adventures of Alauddin Khilji, which began in 1293.

There were many states spread across the sub-continent, about whom we should know to understand the effect of Khilji's expeditions.

It's a lengthy topic. Therefore, it has been divided into two parts. In this first part, we will discuss the following :
1. Gujarat
2. Sindh
3. Rajputana
4. Parmaras of Malwa

We will also talk about Jalaluddin Khilji, the first Khilji Sultan of Delhi.

India Before Alauddin - Part 1 (In Hindi)

In this lesson, we will talk about the remaining part of this topic - the political conditions of India before the coronation of Alauddin Khilji in 1296.

So, here we will discuss the following :
1. Yadavas (Seuna) of Devgiri
2. Kakatiyas of Orugallu (Warangal)
3. Hoyasalas of Dwarasamudram
4. Pandyas of Madurai
5. Eastern Gangas of Odisha
6. Ahoms of Assam

Along with that, we will have a glimpse of the political map of India in 1296.

Also, we will briefly talk about the Venetian traveller, Marco Polo.

India Before Alauddin - Part 2 (In Hindi)

One of the most controversial characters of Indian history, Alauddin Khilji came to throne in1296.

He changed the politics of India forever within just two decades  of his reign.

His invasions on the south had eternal effect upon the politics of the nation. He also repulsed the mighty and terrorizing Mongols numerous times.

Apart from his military feats, his strong administration and taxation reforms are highly appreciable.

On the other hand, he will remain a villain for the Hindus, due to his bigotry and destruction of temples.

Alauddin Khilji (In Hindi)

The end of Khilji Dynasty was as quick as their emergence.
Alauddin's successors were utterly incapable to rule the huge sultanate.

A series of conspiracies and weak successors followed him.

In this lesson, we will talk about the following :
