  1. Introduction to the concept of Inclusive Education

  2. Target Group People with learning disabilities, single or multiple, may be grouped together in different form related to physical, mental, intellectual, emotional, communication, etc. Taret group can be divided into 3 categories:- 1. Children with special needs in the age group of 0-6 years 2. Children with special needs in the age group of 6-14 years 3. Young children with the special needs in the age group of 14-21 years.

  3. Learners from Diverse Background It is a powerful instrument of social change and often initiates upwarod movement in the social structure, thereby helps to bridge the gap between different sections of society. For achieving a cohesive society it would be essential to respond to specific educational needs of learners from different sections of the society with special emphasis on the Scheduled castes, the scheduled tribes and the other socially and economically disadvantaged groups

  4. There is a need for integrating the socio-cultural perspectives partly by showing concern for their pedagogic requirements. Implications of the multilingual and multicultural environment shall have to be taken care of through specifically devised methodology. The fundamental rights of the disadvantaged groups have to be incorporated in the curriculum

Disadvantaged Children with Diverse Background The socially and culturally disadvantaged and deprived children include children from backward communities, SCs, STs, as well as those who get separated from their families due to poverty, natural calamities, epidemics, etc. Children belonging to the economically weaker section based on a minimum annual income level of the parents. They face problems in adjustment with other learners due to social, economics, and educational disparities. They are not given proper guidance and proper opportunities.

  6. Guidelines for education of Children withh special needs . To ensure that no child with special needs is denied admission in .To modify the existing physical infrastructure and teaching Mainstream Education. methodologies to meet the needs of all children including children with special needs. To ensure regular in service training of teachers in inclusive education at the elementary and secondary level. To provide support through assistive devices and the availability of trained teachers. .
