while there is a conflict which is taking place betweeen palestine and israel , and india having good relations with both the countries , and india well and truly cannot de- hyphenate it's relations with both the countries citing the tension between these two countries . When we look at india's relations with palestine it is very positive because it is one of the cornerstone of india's foreign policy, it wants palestine to have an independent , soverign and united states of palestine living within secure and recognized borders with EAST JERUSALEM as it's capital and side by side at peace with israel , india has continued to sign on to BRICS declarations opposing the israeli settlements activites in the occupied territories. PROS OF INDIA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH PALESTINE- india was the first non arab country to contemporaneosly recognize palestine liberation organisation authority as the sole legitimate represebtative of palestinian people. india also supported the Madrid confereencce of 1991. india has supported u.n resolutions of arab peace plan and quartet road map for peace of arab countries ad also israel. many schemes were launched under iccr to promote higher education studies in india for palestinian students. CONS OF INDIA'S RELATIONSHIP WITH PALESTINE- 1. Isreal being the primary and largest arms supplier to india it is a cause of concern to palestine whether to be in good relationship with india or not 2. in july 2015 inda abstained from UNHRC vote on a report criticizing israel actions in 2014 and gaza crisis.
