sir problem says find out that exactly one of a or b or c occur so i applied the formula no.3 which u have given in 1st slide i.e for exactly one out of 3 occuring. But still answer is not coming.

If you've got the answer for the 1st question then the second question is too easy. 1st question asks for probablity of 2 or 3 events occuring together which is 1/3. 2nd qustion asks for probablity of only 1 event occuring. Now probablity of 1, 2 or 3 events occuring together is 1 i.e P(AUBUC)=1, so probablity of only 1 event occuring is 1-(1/3)=2/3
