I thought in step 2, the logic is they arranged smallest no. at starting & biggest no. at end.
Answer is same..

In Step II the logic is that the numbers are arranged in ascending to descending order

In the first Q, i.e, A.P. the series starts with x1, not ‘a’ although you took x1= a+p. So if the series starts with a+p . Then the no. of terms would be n-1,right?

Watch closely, the AP starts with 'a'. Re-read the question. Similarly, the other one started with 'b'.

sir can we just not consider the point R and Q and are of triange and just find the cordinate of P and find lamda by area of triange =0 by putting coordinte of APQ as they are colliner
