They are not the same. If you calculate further, one distance comes out to be (5/9)(4√13+8) and other one comes out to be (5/9)(4√13-8)
Sir ,if tan theta is -3/4 So sin theta can be -3/5 &cos theta can be 4/5 Why it is not used here?

Because we consider theta to belong from 0 to 180 degrees.
