Europe was the zenith of its power, prosperity and glory under the Romans. The Roman Empire excelled the known world in virtually every field of art and sciences. The fall of Rome resulted in 'Dark Ages' and thus began the Medieval period in Europe that existed between the 5th and 15th centuries. The lesson explains the main features of the Medieval Europe, which includes feudalism, superstitions, wars against the Muslim sultanates to save 'Christendom', Church politics, etc.
