Flower is the reproductive organs of plants which has androecium and gynoecium. Stamen is the male structure and pistil is the female reproductive structure. Pollination results in the transfer of pollen to the stigma which is followed by a number of events called as the pollen pistil interaction. Fertilisation in plants is called double fertilisation which is an unique feature in flowering plants. Events that follow fertilisation are the post Fertilisation Events which include development if endosperm, embryo , seed and fruit.
