Ex bladderwort and Venus fly trap is insectivorous plants and cuscuta is parasite cell wall made up of cellulose. Alterations of generation- Life cycle of plants has 2 distinct phases-diploid saprophytic and haploid gametophytic -that alternate with each other The length of the haploid and diploid phases, and whether these phases are free- living or dependent on others, this phenomenon is k/as alteration of generation.
