The NEET-UG or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Under Graduate examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Students seeking admission in undergraduate programmes namely BHMS, BSMS, BAMS, BUMS, BDS and MBBS appear for this examination. Students clearing this examination have a higher chance of getting admission in top and premier colleges in the country. NEET UG exam takes place every year. It consists of three subjects – Physics, Biology and Chemistry. The total time duration for this paper is 3 hours and is of 720 marks.
The examination pattern is almost similar every year. However, the type of questions and difficulty level of the examination changes every year. According to the feedback received from students,NEET-UG 2012 examination questions were majorly asked from the NCERT books. The Physics section was tricky whereas Chemistry was moderate.
Students should prepare all the concepts, topics and chapters thoroughly to clear the NEET UG examination. The best way to prepare is by solving the mock tests and previous years’ question papers.
