The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET PG) is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). It is a single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG diploma courses under various universities/institutions in the country. In order to successfully qualify for the NEET PG exam, candidates must know the exam pattern as it gives them an understanding of various details such as the NEET PG marking scheme, types of questions asked, total marks, duration of the exam, etc.
Marking scheme
Here are the important details that you must know to understand the marking scheme of the NEET PG 2022 exam.
The exam will be conducted in a single day, i.e. single session within a day via a computer based test on March 12, 2022
A total of 200 multiple choice, single correct response questions will be asked in the exam. The questions will be in English language only and candidates will be given 3 hours and 30 minutes to finish the exam
Candidates who answer a question correctly will get 4 marks per answer
One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer given by the candidate
No mark will be deducted for unattended answer
Candidates are offered the choice to highlight any question, whether answered or not, for review during the examination, indicating that they have been given the opportunity to go over these questions again before the time limit expires. Candidates should be aware that questions marked for revision will be evaluated according to the above-mentioned marking scheme
