SBI PO Exam Pattern 2023

The three stages of the SBI PO application process are the Preliminary, Main, and Interview rounds. As a qualifying examination, the SBI PO preliminary test will not have a sectional cut-off. Below is the SBI PO Exam Pattern for your reference.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

The three subjects that comprise the SBI PO Prelims Exam are Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. An online test with 100 objective points will be administered as the preliminary examination. The session has an hour allocated to it, with distinct start and end times for every part.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2023

The General/Economic/Banking Awareness, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation are the four components that comprise the SBI PO Mains Exam. There will be distinct time allowed for every section of the three-hour objective test. There is a total of 200 for all four sections. Additionally, there will be a 50-point descriptive test. There will be an objective test administered after the descriptive test. 

Descriptive Paper

With three hours and thirty minutes dedicated to the objective test and thirty minutes to the descriptive paper, the SBI PO main exam will carry a total of 250 points. In order to prepare the final result, the Mains test and the interview are weighted in a ratio of 75:25. The Prelims exam is only a qualifying exam; scores do not count toward the final consideration.

No Sectional Cutoff

SBI PO will not have a sectional cut-off. Approximately 10 times as many candidates as there are slots in each category will be selected for the Main Examination from the top of the merit list.

SBI PO Prelims Syllabus 2023

SBI PO Prelims is the first step in the whole procedure. It is a qualifying exam in order to proceed to the Mains Exams. There is a 60-minute total duration, with segment timings for every section. SBI PO Syllabus For Group Discussion & Interview

In the SBI PO, the final two steps are the group discussion and the interview. The following important details of SBI PO GD and PI should be reviewed by candidates:

1. The group exercise is worth twenty points, and the interview is worth thirty.
2. If a candidate is chosen for group exercises and interviews and is classified as “OBC,” they will need to present an OBC certificate with the “Non-Creamy Layer” provision.
3. In this step, candidates must receive the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the final selection.
4. The mains and interview marks have a weighted ratio of 75:25. For this reason, students should not take this topic lightly.
