first quesn me agr carbocation left wale pe hoga to hyperconjugation to nhi hogi but resonance stabilised hoga. jyada stable to res. wala hota h !!
At 2:14, why did the +ve charge not go to the terminal carbon, because in that case, it would have been resonance stabilized, and moreover, vinylic carbocations are highly unstable? Someone please explain.
Will there not be any 1,4 addition in the last question?
All those who are asking as to why in first question of slide carbocation is formed at C2 and not C1. Well it has to do with streo aspects one should keep in mind that two adjacent π- bonds are perpendicular to each other as such attack on C1 will not lead to any conjugation stability. Hence C2 will be formed 2° C+ rather than C1 which is 1°C+

you said that carbocation should form on c2 ( because of stereo aspect) . why don't carbocation shift to c1 from c2 because carbocation will be more stable on c1

Nope it won't shift as it is even after shifting it will require to flip it's orbital and flipping of orbital in general don't take in transition states. Btw I am not here to satisfy any particular individual . Anyhow for your argument you can refer to Carey A.Sundberg
