'write down' is correct. here is the excerpt from oxford dictionary: ˌwrite something  ˈdown 1  to write something on paper, especially inorder to remember or record it  Write down the address before you forget it.  
Surya, we can use 'a few' as well. While 'a few' refers to some or a small number, 'few' refers to not many or almost none. Hope this helps. Thanks
