explain with example between the gaining speed and losing speed.

I don't know what confused you here . Gaining speed means increase in the speed i.e., when your speed increases. Say you are driving at a speed of 5 km/hr and after some time the speed is changed to 10 km/hr. So , here you gained speed. Similarly , losing is the opposite of gaining. So , if your speed decreases say from 10 km/hr to 5 km/hr , then you are losing speed. I hope this clarifies your doubt.
